Terms of Service
The agreement between MisafirPro and the organisation using it. Plain language, and it means what it says.
Last updated 22 September 2026
Who this is between
MisafirPro is a trading name of IDARA ONE PTY LTD, a company registered in Australia. These terms are between us (“MisafirPro”, “we”) and the organisation whose account is created (“you”). Whoever creates the account confirms they are authorised to accept these terms for that organisation.
The service
MisafirPro is a visitor management system: visitors sign themselves in and out on a tablet at your reception, badges can be printed, and you get a visitor log, reports and an optional daily summary email.
We may change or improve the service over time. If we remove something you depend on, we will give you reasonable notice first.
Your trial and your account
- A new organisation starts with a 7-day free trial. No payment details are required to begin.
- When the trial ends, access is locked until the account is activated. Your data is not deleted when a trial ends.
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure, and for what people you invite do with the access you give them.
- Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.
Your data stays yours
Everything you and your visitors put into MisafirPro belongs to you. We store and process it to provide the service, and for nothing else.
- We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to train anything.
- You can export your offices, users, devices and settings from Settings, and your visitor records from the Visitor Log, at any time.
- We may use aggregate, de-identified information — counts that identify nobody — to understand how the service is used and to improve it.
Your responsibilities as the one collecting visitor information
This is the obligation most worth reading. When your visitors sign in, you are the one collecting their personal information — not us. That means:
- You must have a lawful basis for collecting it, and must tell visitors what you collect and why, as the Australian Privacy Principles require.
- You decide how long records are kept and who in your organisation may see them.
- You must handle requests from visitors to access or correct their own records. We will help you, but we cannot answer for you.
- You must not use the service to collect information you are not entitled to collect.
How we handle information on your behalf is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- attempt to access another organisation's data, or probe, scan or test the security of the service without our written permission;
- use the service to store or send unlawful, harassing or deliberately misleading content;
- resell or white-label the service without our agreement;
- interfere with the service's operation, or place an unreasonable load on it.
We may suspend an account that puts the service or other customers at risk. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you the chance to put it right.
Availability
We work to keep MisafirPro available and will give notice of planned maintenance where we reasonably can, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. No uptime guarantee is offered under these terms.
MisafirPro should not be your only means of accounting for people in a building in an emergency. Keep a procedure that works when a tablet, your network or the internet does not.
Ending the agreement
- You may stop using the service at any time. Export anything you want to keep before you do.
- You may ask us to delete your organisation's account. Deletion removes your offices, users, devices and visitor records permanently, and cannot be undone.
- We may end this agreement if you materially breach these terms and do not put it right within a reasonable time after we tell you.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, and to the fullest extent the law allows:
- the service is provided as it is, without warranties beyond those the law implies;
- neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits or lost data beyond what a court would award as direct loss;
- our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim, or, where nothing has been paid, to re-supplying the service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and the courts of Queensland have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date above shows when they last changed, and we will email account holders before a change that materially affects them takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
